Our historic rendering features three Landmarks of Hartford, Connecticut: the Bushnell Park Archway, The State Capitol, and The Charter Oak.

The Bushnell Park Archway, formally called the Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Arch, was dedicated in 1886 to Hartford citizens who served in the Civil War.

The Connecticut State Capitol houses the Connecticut General Assembly and was completed in 1878.

The Charter Oak was an unusually large white oak tree until if fell during a storm in 1856.  Legend says that Connecticut’s Royal Charter of 1662 was hidden within the hollow of the tree to protect it from confiscation by the English governor-general.

Reminiscent of a fine old English engraving, our Antique scenes offer a most distinctive and professional gift of luxury.  Well suited for display in either home or office, they are a source of pride for both sender and receiver.  The paperweight is bordered in black and has a felt bottom.  Picture, mirror and wood box are all matted with an antique white mat featuring blue and gold trim.   Mirrors and pictures are ready to hang.  Boxes include quality brass fittings.  Proudly made in America.
