Established in 1701 as the Collegiate School, Yale is an Ivy League institution. Renamed Yale College in 1718 it is the 3^rd oldest institution of higher education in the United States. It became co-educational in 1969. Boasting an enrollment over 12,000, the Bulldogs compete in NCAA Division I athletics.

Our historic rendering features the Old Campus buildings of Dwight Hall and Harkness Tower. Harkness Tower, completed in 1922 is a Collegiate Gothic structure named for Charles William Harkness. At 216’ it is the most recognized landmark at Yale.
