Established in 1845, USNA is a 4-year co-ed federal service academy. The second oldest of the 5 U.S. service academies it educates officers for the U.S. Navy and U.S. Maine Corps.
Our historic rendering features Bancroft Hall, the largest single dormitory in the world. Named for George Bancroft (U.S. Secretary of the Navy), it houses all 4,000 Midshipmen.
