University of Chicago

Established in 1890, UChicago is a private research university.  Founded by oil magnate John D. Rockefeller it held its first classes in 1892.  Currently boasting an enrollment over 14,000, the Phoenix compete in NCAA Division III athletics.

Our historic rendering features Rockefeller Chapel which was completed in 1928.  An example of the Collegiate Gothic architecture, it was meant by its patron John D. Rockefeller to be the central and dominant feature on campus.  The Carillon and tower were a separate gift by Rockefeller in honor of his mother, Laura Spelman Rockefeller.

Reminiscent of the French églomisé style, our Traditional scenes offer a most distinctive and professional gift of luxury.  Well suited for display in either home or office, they are a source of pride for both sender and receiver.  The paperweight, most glass products and “mini” products feature red trim.  Mirrors and pictures are ready to hang.  Boxes include quality brass fittings.  Proudly made in America.
