University of Richmond

Established in 1830, UR is rich in history, beginning as a Baptist Seminary and becoming Richmond College in 1840.  During the Civil War, the entire student body formed a regiment and joined the Confederate Army while college buildings were used as a Confederate hospital and later as Union barracks.  In 1914 it moved from downtown Richmond to its present location.  Boasting an enrollment over 4,000, the Spiders compete in NCAA Division I athletics.

Our historic rendering features Boatwright Memorial Library (1955), a Collegiate Gothic building overlooking Westhampton Lake.  The library serves as a memorial to Frederic William Boatwright’s 68 years of service to the university.

Reminiscent of the French églomisé style, our Traditional scenes offer a most distinctive and professional gift of luxury.  Well suited for display in either home or office, they are a source of pride for both sender and receiver.  The paperweight, most glass products and “mini” products feature blue trim.  Mirrors and pictures are ready to hang.  Boxes include quality brass fittings.  Proudly made in America.
